Description

The Elvi Herenza Rioja Crianza is 100% made from Tempranillo grapes from the vineyards in northern Spain and is aged for 14 months in French and American oak casks. The coloring is a beautiful, cloudy garnet. The aroma is full of red fruit and spice such as cranberries, cherries, and red currants, as well as ground pepper and cloves.

The taste reveals similar flavors, with lots of red fruit and a light earthiness. It is fairly light bodied with a strong acidity that grows to the end. This wine is superbly balanced and shows its craftmanship.
