Description

The 2013 Tinto is an unoaked blend of 30% Touriga Franca, 30% Tinta Roriz, 30% Tinta Barroca and 10% Touriga Nacional, sourced from Real Companhia Velha s Quintas (Aciprestes and Cidro). It comes in at 13.5% alcohol. This is a terrific deal. Showing reasonable concentration for the level and considerable pop and power, this focused Tinto is clean and fresh, with good fruit and enough of everything to hold up to food. It should hold decently, but it is certainly approachable now. It likely will not reward long aging, so don t hesitate to dive in. There were 5,000 cases produced.

Perhaps better known for their Port, Delaforce has been producing table wines since 1868. This wine is medium ruby with aromas of blackberry, black cherry, sandalwood, raspberry and plum. The palate is dry with medium body and flavours of dark berry fruit on a clean, moderately tannic finish.
